Custom typeface designed for parisian fashion house Balenciaga. As Alexander Wang was appointed new creative director of the brand, art director Julien Gallico approached us to create a typeface. The geometric design with wide shapes and low contrast takes references from labels found in the Balenciaga archives, and Art Deco proportions, toned down for a more timeless look.

For Lancel, we were asked to create a typeface helping refresh the brand. The design directly references the typographic style of the Années Folles, with narrow uppercases and pointed terminals for key letters, while tall lowercases make the design more fitting to today's taste, and legible in text sizes.

For the 100th years of the Republic of Estonia, an ambitious branding system was developed, allowing not only estonian institutions, but also companies and individuals to use the branding toolset and guidelines to communicate and represent Estonia. One of the main and most recognizable element of this brand identity is Aino, a typeface we created under relatively tight deadlines. Aino Headline is a stencil-like display style aimed for big sizes where its particular shapes provide a unique look. Aino Regular and Bold are two styles created for more common usages such as longer text. Estonia is one of the most digitally advanced countries with its e-residency, online voting and tax systems. The typeface expresses this central value with a modern, somewhat technological design, and open shapes which provide great legibility on screen. All three styles include the cyrillic alphabet.
